國際學生短片創作影展

為了有效地啟發學生的影音創意，自2001年起，崑山科技大學視訊傳播設計系學生自發性每年舉辦螺絲起子短片競賽與講座活動，在2006年徵件作品擴大至華語地區，在2014年更開始邁向國際化。現今影展已踏入第十六個年頭，成為南台灣最大型的國際學生影展，累積不少來自世界各地，尤其是華人地區青年學生的影音創意力量，每年創造無限可能。本影展旨在鼓勵各位在電影或動畫等專業範疇的莘莘學子能夠發揮所長，拍出代表自己的青春紀錄片，每部片子就像螺絲釘一樣，一枚枚釘刻在我們自己的生命之牆上，並且薪火相傳一屆接一屆傳承下去。

International Student Short Film Festival To inspire students with more creativity and film and TV productions, the Department of Motion Pictures and Video & the Graduate School of Media Arts in Kun Shan University, Taiwan, has been launching international short film festivals and seminars every year since 2001. This is not only the nation’s first film festival held by the students, but also one of the few spontaneous student film festivals that has continued for over a decade. It is now an indicative film festival of students’ creations and the largest international student film festival in southern Taiwan. The area of its submissions has now expended to the entire Chinese-speaking world, helping it to gather video creation energy from worldwide young Chinese-speaking students and to become even more internationalized starting from 2014. 
 
The purpose of the international short film festivals with seminars is to encourage all students of the film or motion pictures who can go to great length of shooting the best video by themselves. Each video production is like the a screw that sticks on our wall of life. These works constitute the continuous process of creative production that will be inherited and developed further every year.
